HMS Belfast is an impressive cruiser with nine decks moored near Morgan’s Lane. HMS Belfast was launched in 1939. It actively took part in World War Two. HMS Belfast escorted Arctic Convey. It also took part in Battle of North Cape and D-Day Landing (Operation Overland). Before decommissioned in 1963, it took part in Korean War.


HMS Belfast became a floating museum on 21st October 1971. Since 1978, it is a part of Imperial war Museum.


HMS Belfast appeals to all ages. It will take approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Students &Senior citizens: £8.60
Discount for Group up to 10 or more people and Disabled visitor.
One carer is free with disabled person.

Nearest tube station: London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee Line) - 5 min;

Tower Hill (District and Circle Line).

Nearest train station: London Bridge.

By bus: Any bus to London Bridge.

By boat: Regular boat tours of the River Thames operate on a daily basis. Boats moor alongside Tower Pier, London City Pier and Butler Wharf.

By car: Parking in the area around Tooley Street.

Dogs: Guide dogs allowed.

Wheelchair: Are available for loan. There is partial access (with access to upper deck, canteen, sick bay, operating table, dental surgery and Walrus Cafe.
